Customized Modern Blogger + Logo Feature

Marnie from Carrots are Orange, www.CarrotsAreOrange.com, was in need of a new logo and a few customizations to her Modern Blogger theme. I’m loving the earthy feel of the brown replacing the pink.

I also fell in love with her blog while doing a little research and really wanted her logo to be bright, fun and inviting to accomodate her writing style.

While navigating her site I noticed it was running a little slow and was super image heavy as she’s been blogging for quite some time. I resized all of her images and purged quite a few plugins to get her site loading quicker. She also made the incredibly smart decision to switch hosting companies to Synthesis, www.WebSynthesis.com.
