I have been out of town this past week traveling to and from Blissdom. I learned a ton about myself at the conference, but more than anything it gave me insight into all of your wants and needs. My customers, bloggers and website owners, people who love cute stuff. You 🙂 I went with the mindset that I would gather as much information as possible, put myself in your place, and then turn that into the perfect customer experience for you. I’m so excited to start developing what I believe will be the perfect theme for everyone.
For starters, I wanted to streamline our support system here. Having things offsite through ZenDesk was a bit of a nightmare as it felt like everything was all over the place and wasn’t easily accessible. You needed to be logged in to view the content, and then logged in to view your support ticket etc. The way I have it setup now is such that you’ll be sending me an email via the form on our new support page, and I will respond to your email. Simple. I love it.
Each theme’s individual setup page is linked on the new support page as well, so you’ll just click on the theme support link to access those. I am open to any and all suggestions as far as making this site the best tool available for you, so please feel free to comment below.
I owe a huge thank you to Susan for responding to your support tickets while I was out of town (and daily). As I’ve mentioned before, she is a huge blessing. An angel muffin 😉 And a huge thank you to StudioPress for updating my support links in no time flat, as well as the “read me” files of my themes, to reflect these changes. They are the best of the best over there and I’m so thankful to be able to sell my themes through such an outstanding company.
Thank you all for being so patient through these changes in our support system! I’ve been wanting to make it as simple and effective as possible so you can get your sites up and running in no time without any road blocks. Another thing I’ve been considering is a forum for all of you to discuss your sites, and customizations you’ve made etc. It would need to be moderated by volunteers, but I think it could be a great resource for everyone to help each other out and share customization tips and tricks amongst one another. Would that be something you’re interested in? Please just let me know in the comments below.
Thank you for this change! I love your themes and use Modern Blogger. This will be a much easier process to locate the tutorials.
Thank YOU for choosing PDCD!
Hey Lindsey!
I love your templates and own the “Adorable” one put haven’t used it yet because I can’t figure out how to do all the configurations and stuff. I’m to poor to have you do it for me also. I’m just wondering if you ever plan on making Blogger templates?
Thanks,
-Shannon
Hi Shannon! I do not plan on working with Blogger, I did in the past and it’s way too unreliable in my opinion. I feel like if you’re going to take the time to invest in a blog or website you need to be able to rely on your hosting which is why I use websynthesis.com. Blogger goes down, your site goes down, and it’s happened a few times in the past. I highly recommend self hosted WordPress websites and will be offering a free q&a in the very near future for people like yourself who just want to get up and running, but do not have the funds to have someone do it all for them. I want to show you it can be fun and easy and you will be so happy with the results!
Hi Lindsay, I love the idea of a forum to share tips and ideas! Count me in with my Adorable theme, with I love!
Thank you, Cindy! I appreciate the feedback! 🙂
Hi Lindsey 🙂
I love, love, love all of your themes and I love the idea of a forum to share tips and tricks!
Thank you so much for letting me know, Ty! 🙂
I’m not sure where to go for support from you currently. I am having an issue with the Swank theme portfolio page and was wondering if you could help. http://adceterainc.com/portfolio/ is showing an error message and I’m not sure how to fix. Thanks!
