Y’all. I don’t know about you, but finding my summer schedule groove has proven futile thus far. The girls are out of school, we have vacation coming up, extracurricular activities and a lot of fun family outings planned. I’ve often said I thrive on spontaneity, and it’s true, most of the time. Summer is not one of those times. There are simply too many mornings we wake up and think “hey let’s go do this because we can!” so it’s important I make sure important tasks are completed each day, and set firm boundaries.
My daily planner is on the shelf for the summer, and this new summer schedule printable is all I’ll be using. It’s simple enough to not feel restricting or daunting in the least, but structured enough that I’ll remember and get into the habit of doing important things each day. I’ve only added 6 days, so I’ll remember to give ourselves one day of absolutely nothing each week. The days have been intentionally left blank so you can start your week whatever day best suits your needs.
Write those three in and mark them off at the same time each day, just draw a line all the way across the simple summer schedule printable. Then add in your random daily items. Groceries, playdates, lunches, outings etc.. Pop that sucker on your fridge, and go enjoy your summer!
Easy, right? Ahh I love feeling organized.
